A few months ago I first heard about ACEO. Trading card art pieces that seem to selling like hot cakes recently on Ebay. I loved the novelty of small pieces and made a small patch playing with a experimental idea I had. A fusion of gesso and gouache on paper. Layering bright pastel colours over warm earthy undertones. And voila! This small collection was born. Featuring whimsical circus animals inspired by our recent trip to the Moscow Circus.
