Hi, I’m Sarah
I’m a Townsville-based visual artist who has dabbled in a lot of things including graphic design, storybook illustration, and surface design. My passion for creativity spans various mediums, allowing me to explore and experiment with colors and textures that resonate with my artistic vision. When I’m not making art, I’m a mum to 4 kids, 4 chickens, 2 dogs, and a budgie, each of whom inspires me in their own unique way. Balancing my family life and artistic pursuits has taught me the importance of patience and the value of storytelling, as I weave the experiences of my daily life into my creations, bringing a touch of whimsy and warmth to all that I do.

Last year I joined a makerspace and had an epiphany. For years I had been making little art journals for myself, but by making wooden covers I could take them to the next level. Now better than ever, you can have one too. They are hardy and made with quality papers (300gsm watercolor or 100gsm sketch)
